Common questions about trick-or-treat toys

Are these toys for cats or dogs?

Cats. The catnip three-pack and the wand teaser are both made for cats, and neither is built to stand up to a dog's bite. The costumes and the light-up collar are where the dogs come in.

Does catnip work on every cat?

No. Plenty of cats ignore it completely, and kittens usually do not react to it until they are older. The toys still work as toys; the catnip is a bonus for the cats who care.

Why put the wand away after playing?

A string left lying around is a string that gets chewed and sometimes swallowed. Bringing the wand out only when you are there to play keeps it safe, and keeps it interesting.
